    Description

    This is a complete NOS 1971 GTO Judge front grille and bezel set that I bought new from the dealer back in 1972 for my convertible. The grilles were discontinued by the dealership that year. They only made 357 Judge Hardtops and 17 Judge Convertibles that year. The spare grilles supply was less than 20 and they did not make a second run. If you have a 1971 Judge then you already know this. The original 71 grilles were made of superior metal that does not corrode like Chinese garbage. Then they took that grille and plated it overall with a satin black anodized  material that is probably illegal today. After a half century now and as limited as the those cars are, this is the impossible item to duplicate or find. Perfect for any point show car. Perfect to keep as a spares for your 71 Judge. Perfect to display under framed glass as artwork in your home or office. These have been stored in my California home for a half century, and I am surprised to find that I am not getting any younger and need the space. All of this as beautiful as the day that it was made. New with all of the original packaging as shown. The grilles are made of superior metal that does corrode like repops. The bezels are pot metal from the factory and were plated with a very low quality production chrome. The bezels are impossible to find as replatable cores today. The pot metal cast mount pins usually fall off with age or by idiots over tightening. They are soft and bend in impacts easily as well. The original chrome plating is as good as he day they were made if your car wants the exact finish and show points are important. If you want to have the nicest set of bezels on the planet then this is your chance to get perfect stripped and plated with show chrome. They also have the original mounting hardware kits which were not serviced or included after the first run of spare bezels. Perfect for any point show car. Being sold as is after all of these years.
