    Based on the 1934 novel by Bradford Ropes, it tells the story of a hard-drinking performer (Jolson) opens a nightclub with a dancer (Keeler) and the two get mixed up with mobsters.
    The book, chock-full of black-and-white photos, is published by the Saalfield Publishing Co., Akron, Ohio and New York.
